Our Story

The Center for Professional Training and Development (TCPTD) provides individual, managementl, leadership, group and corporate training and development workshops.  Our mission is to improve the personal and professional lives of individuals and promote the continued growth and development of groups and organizations.

TCPTD began as CHOICE Learning and Management Solutions in January 2009. Since then, the company has continued to grow and has become the go-to resource for organizations wanting high-quality, cost-effective training and development services. In the fall of 2013, CHOICE embarked upon a business strategy and rebranding process, resulting in the company's current name, The Center for Professional Training and Development.  The Center's headquarters is located in Columbia, Maryland.  

Courses are offered at our Columbia, MD office as well as on-site at client locations.  Coming soon, TCPTD will offer web-based training via Citrix's GoToTraining software.
